Owen Wyke

I write surrealist and fabulist fiction from my home in northeast Connecticut. Trees surrounding the house include blue spruce, Japanese maple, holly, juniper, black birch, rose of Sharon and Buddlea, popular with butterflies and therefore known also as a butterfly bush. Some wee flora are clover, scarlet pimpernel and purple loosestrife.

I'm partial to the typefaces Janson Text, Perpetua and Weiss. When these are not available and I am not on adventure I use Palatino. When I am adventuring and I am not in a place that is sideways or upside-down, I use Georgia, otherwise I sing sea shanties.

I am the founding editor of the perfectly respected literary journal Gone Lawn, which I understand you've heard of.

I can be reached at owenwyke13@gmail.com. I also have a presence on Bluesky and Face Boo. Feel free to connect with me there. Gone Lawn has a presence on Bluesky and Ex.
