Andrea Damic, born in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, lives and works in Sydney, Australia. She wears many hats, as her daughter likes to remind her. She's an artist, writer and contributing editor for
Pictura Journal, currently working on her first hybrid chapbook. Andrea is also an accountant with a master’s degree in Economics. She has received several photography awards in various online competitions, and has created cover art for
Door Is A Jar, Gone Lawn, Pictura Journal, Rat's Ass Review and
Molecule: A Tiny Lit Mag. Her cover art 'Bountiful' has been nominated for Best of the Net 2026 by
Gone Lawn. Her literary art has been recently published or is forthcoming in
Bending Genres, Does It Have Pockets, JMWW, MasticadoresUSA, Roi Fainéant Press, SmokeLong Quarterly where she won the Trainwreck Micro Competition (Sep 2025), etc.. Andrea believes there’s something cathartic about seeing your art and words out in the world. In her imaginary free time, she can be found fiddling with her website
damicandrea.wordpress.com and other social media.
